Having a hard time keeping up with the latest technology and gadgetry? Do you like to build and make things? Stop by our libraries to test out our collection of robotics, tech & all things Maker. Most items are for in-library use only, although some can be checked out and taken home. Here’s what we have:

3D PRINTER & SCANNER

Need to print new plastic training wheels for your daughter's bike? Maybe you don't want to order a replacement part? With our 3D Scanner and Printer, you can scan broken items, edit the digital image, and print them at our library. Or create something new all on your own.

BLOXELS

This is a great resource that combines tactile objects with coding. Each colored block represents a component in a video game. You can build your own video game by building with these blocks. Design your own characters with the blocks too! A great, tactile introduction to coding.

CODEAPILLAR

Code-a-pillars are a great early coding tool for ages 3-6. The Code-a-pillar fosters experimentation and problem solving. With stop & go targets, you and your children can experiment how to get the code-a-pillar from one destination to another.

Whether you're cutting something intricate out of paper or vinyl, we've got the tool for you. Create beautiful handmade cards, decals to monogram gifts, stencils for t-shirts-the list is as long as your imagination.

CUBELETS

LITTLE BITS STEAM KIT

The easy-to-use electronic building blocks snap together with magnets empowering kids to create inventions, large and small. MAKEY MAKEY

Make a banana piano. Turn a cardboard box and some rubber bands into a recordable guitar. Create a game controller out of play-doh. All this is possible (and more) with the Makey-Makey. The Makey-Makey allows you to take real world objects and turn them into controllers for any computer game or app.
