Bring your Library Card with you when you visit us so that we can call up your computer file and check your books out quickly.

Inform us of any change in your address or matters relating to your file so that we may record them and keep your file current. A PINES library card will expire after two years and the same card will be updated and reused (Do not throw away your old card).

Lost Cards: card replacement is $2.00

Request for renewal of materials may be made in person or by calling your PINES library.

Bring books and materials that need to be checked in to the circulation desk during regular hours. A book drop is provided for after hour drop-offs. Please do not put audios and videos in the book drop.

There is no grace period for overdue books.

Bestsellers and Video checkouts are 7 days only, late charge is 50¢ per day.

Overdue notices: The first overdue notice will be sent after an item is seven days past due. The second overdue notice will be sent after 14 days past due. Final notice assesses the replacement cost of overdue materials and is sent at 30 days past due.

Fines: Fines are 10¢ per item/per day with a $10.00 maximum charge per item. Bestsellers and Videos are 50¢ per item/per day and are limited to a 7 day checkout period. Books on reserve may not be renewed.

A patron will be blocked from checking out materials after ten items are overdue and if a total of $10.00 or more is owed.
